08/26/04 - Continuing its expansion of high-performance racquet strings, Gamma Sports is pleased to unveil the newest members of its revolutionary line-up.....Live Wire Revelation and Zo Sweet.
Gamma Revelation a new addition to the Live Wire category features Live Wire filaments that are fused rather than bonded together for greater feedback and control. Live Wire filaments are fibers that stretch and recover at the same rate. As a result, maximum energy is stored in the string at impact and increases the energy returned to the ball upon recovery. In addition Revelation, maintains tension longer than other "soft" multifilament synthetic strings, enabling Revelation to maintain its desired performance longer.
Revelation also features a new longer lasting pearl coating on the outer surface. This coating provides greater abraison resistance for added string life.
Revelation is availalble in both 16 (1.32mm) and 17 (1.27mm) gauges sets and reels.
Gamma Zo Sweet is a new hybrid combination featuring 17 (1.22mm) gauge Zo monofilament main strings and 17 (1.27mm) gauge TNT2 cross strings. Zo Sweet provides players with a softer feel for greater comfort and power without sacrificing control.
This string is a hybrid recommended for hard hitters who find polyester mains and crosses too stiff. To reduce impact and dampen vibrations for greater comfort and a solid, vibration-free feel Sweet uses 17 gauge TNT2 as the cross strings.
