12/14/04 - Wilson Racquet Sports recently honored David Malinowski, Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager, with the 2004 Jack Kramer Award. The Jack Kramer Award recognizes the Territory Manager who has exhibited sales excellence and the core goals of Wilson in the areas of Grassroots and brand impact in their territory for Wilson.
Malinowski, a Mechanicsville, VA resident, has been with Wilson for eight years starting his career as a technical representative. He has been instrumental in introducing Wilson racquet technology, including the Triad and recent nCode launch, to the Virginia, Maryland and DC markets.
“David Malinowski has demonstrated great commitment to tennis through his tenure with Wilson, efforts to promote the game in his community and involvement with the USTA,” Rick Kerpsack, Vice President of Golf and Racquet Sports for Wilson, said.
Malinowski has been active in tennis his entire life, competing in high school and college on his way to becoming a USTA Board member in the Virginia section and a USPTA Certified Tennis Pro. He is also heavily involved in local professional
tennis events, including the renowned Legg Mason Tennis Classic.
The award is named after Jack Kramer, a Hall of Famer who was not only a legendary player, but also an ambassador for the sport. He was an exceptional promoter, innovator and television commentator who left a lasting impact on the tennis world.
