06/04/04 - Hilton Head Island, SC - - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announced Thursday that it has signed a three year partnership agreement with Sportwall International, Inc., a California based company that manufacturers interactive backboards for tennis training. With a 20% discount for members, the deal adds another program to PTR's extensive list of member benefits.
Called "the wave of the future," by Billie Jean King, Sports-PC for Tennis is a fun, high performance backboard training system with lighted targets, a scoreboard, time clock and net line that accurately simulates matchplay and rewards players with scores for accuracy, speed, control, strategy and technique. Each includes two remote controls, indoor/outdoor speakers, up to 10 pre-programmed games, a four foot high catch net to keep balls in play, a protective cover, two spare targets and a spare motherboard. The Sports-PC for Tennis is available in three sizes: 800 (8'x8', 10 targets); 1200 (12'x8', 15 targets) with bonus Mobile Adapter Kit; and 1600 (16'x8', 20 targets).
