05/28/04 - Hilton Head Island, SC - - The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announced the renewal of their sponsorship agreement with Gamma Sports, extending the eight year partnership for an additional three years.

Gamma has manufactured the tennis industry's #1 rated strings for 23 straight years. As the official strings, stringing machines, accessories, teaching aids and court equipment of the PTR, Gamma supports the organization in a variety of ways. Each new member of PTR receives a free set of strings as a welcome gift from Gamma. Gamma sponsors two divisions, Men's 30 Singles and the Women's Open Singles, of the PTR $25,000 Championships and is the official on-site stringer for the tournament. In addition, Gamma hosts a dinner party during the organization's annual International Tennis Symposium. The company supports TennisPro magazine, the official publication of the PTR, and is an exhibitor at PTR's Tennis Trade Show. Each year, PTR and Gamma recognize the top accounts as the Gamma Gold Group. Gamma offers thousands of dollars in discounts annually to PTR members on their quality strings, accessories and court equipment.
