09/09/04 - Hilton Head Island, SC - - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) will hold its International Tennis Symposium & $25,000 Championships, February 19-25, 2005. The annual event will be held at PTR International Headquarters on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA.
PTR's International Tennis Symposium attracts approximately 1,000 tennis teachers, coaches and tennis enthusiasts from more than 50 countries. Many of the tennis industry's most notable speakers conduct both classroom and on-court presentations. The Symposium promises exciting lecturers from Jim Baugh, Jill Fonte, Dr. Allen Fox, Dan James, Chuck Kriese, Robert Lansdorp, Dr. Jim Loehr, Mark McMahon and Dennis Van der Meer. Subject matter ranges from tennis business management to wheelchair tennis instruction. In conjunction with the International Symposium is the PTR $25,000 Championships, which features 28 divisions of play in men's and women's singles and doubles and mixed doubles.
Coinciding with the Symposium is a Tennis Trade Show where companies like HEAD/Penn Racquet Sports, Gamma, Dunlop, and Wilson are among the 40-plus tennis related manufacturers and organizations that exhibit their new product lines, latest technologies and services. Product demonstrations will be conducted on a demo court adjacent to the trade show floor.
Tennis teachers, coaches and enthusiasts can register for the PTR International Tennis Symposium and Trade Show. The $25,000 Championships, however, is exclusively for PTR members. Contact PTR for complete information and a registration form.
