02/11/05 - Professional Tennis Registry will honor several of its members and two tennis facilities during the annual Awards Banquet which will be held Monday, February 21st, at the Crowne Plaza Resort on Hilton Head Island. The banquet is part of the annual PTR International Tennis Symposium and $25,000 Championships. The recognitions are in various categories for service, commitment and dedication to PTR, to their communities and to the sport of tennis.

Those honored by the PTR are:

Professional of the Year - Angel Lopez, San Diego, CA

Clinician of the Year - Daniel Leal, Pike Road, AL

Tester of the Year - Jose Luis Castillo, Cayey, Puerto Rico

Coach Verdieck Award - College of the Year - Patty McCain, Seattle, WA

Coach Verdieck Award - High School Coach of the Year - Susan Minchau, Johnstown, PA

Coach Verdieck Award - Touring Pro Coach of the Year - Tony Huber, Cypress, TX

Humanitarian Award - Enrique Ninente, Hagatna, Guam
