03/14/05 - Gamma Sports, makers of the number one rated string product line in tennis, proudly announces their sponsorship of the Methodist College Open. The event will be held March 25-27, 2005 at Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The tournament is open to men and women for singles, doubles and mixed doubles and singles and doubles for 35, 45, 55 and 65 age brackets. The final registration date for the tournament is March 22, 2005.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Professional Tennis Management Program, its students and the local tennis community. The program prepares students to enter the tennis industry with opportunities to coach, manage a tennis facility or pursue marketing or manufacturing positions. “Growing the sport is important to Gamma Sports. The Professional Tennis Management Program at Methodist College is a key instrument in promoting this growth”, said Matt Ferrari, President of Gamma Sports.
Gamma products and Fischer racquets will be available for purchase at this tournament for special tournament pricing with a portion of the proceeds from each sale going to the Professional Tennis Management Program.
