10/18/05 - Tennis players seeking to heat up the court with sizzling plays now have a new tool to keep their cool: the Prince T9 Roadster. Featuring advanced moisture-wicking and quick-drying technologies, the T9 lightweight performance shoe keeps players’ feet dry even during the most intense match-ups.

“The T9 combines an aggressive new look with advanced wick-away technology for a lightweight performance shoe that makes the player look as cool as their feet feel – no matter how much they heat up the court,” said James Lin, Product Manager at Prince. “The Roadster is available in adult as well as junior sizes – for the player that appreciates a lightweight performance shoe that does not require a break-in period.”

The T9 Roadster is part of Prince’s T-Series designed with a combination of breathable synthetics and AIRmesh, featuring forefoot lock-down overlays to ensure stable footing even during aggressive play. The T9 was constructed for players seeking speed and agility on the court, with the added benefit of a moisture-wick, moisture management system for maximum comfort.

The T9™ Construction

The T9 performance shoe is crafted with the latest in footwear engineering to make it the coolest shoe for gameday and training. The upper, featuring a combination of lighter weight, breathable synthetic leather and AIRmesh panels, is lighter than traditional all-leather or all-synthetic shoes. The T9's Dri-Lex® lining enhances comfort, moisture management, total breathability and quick drying capabilities. The shoe’s contoured, thickly padded collar hugs the ankle for comfort and its overlay straps in the forefoot provide lateral stability. The molded EVA midsole features a ShockEraser™ insert to absorb heel impact and a Softspring™ polyurethane forefoot insert for additional cushioning. This shoe is available in men’s, women’s and junior sizes and comes in two color-ways for each gender. The adult shoes feature the PRC 1000 outsole compound that provides a six-month outsole wear guarantee. Weight: Men’s 14.0 oz., Women’s 12.5 oz.
