Tennis Industry Association to Donate $10,000 toward Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

09/06/05 - The TIA announced at their semi-annual board meeting in New York, during the US Open, that it will donate $10,000 toward the American Red Cross hurricane relief effort. Other efforts include reaching out to the TIA’s 12,000+ industry contact list to encourage companies and individuals to lend their support.

The Tennis Industry Association is also coordinating a drive to get support from apparel and footwear manufacturers to donate their product to help those affected in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
