04/24/06 - Boulder, CO–Babolat announces the introduction of the Spring/Summer 2006 collection of Babolat tennis shoes featuring six models, each designed to meet the unique needs of tennis players.
Specifically created to optimize lateral movement, the Babolat tennis shoe is a high-performance, all court shoe, offering better stability and reaction time on the court and features the following technologies:
Exact - the Shoe Energizer, to boost lateral movement
Extra-durable outsole developed exclusively with Michelin
Vibrakill - shock-absorber in the heel for maximum comfort
The Babolat range of shoes includes the TEAM line - durable, high-performance competition models - and the Babolat PURE line, offering additional comfort for recreational players. There are three men’s models, two women’s models and a junior model.
The highlight of the Spring/Summer collection is the Team All Court Roddick, part of the recently launched Andy Roddick signature gear that also includes the new Pure Drive Roddick racquet. Babolat developed and designed this equipment exclusively for Andy who is currently playing with it in competition.
