12/04/06 - Los Angeles–The Tennis Channel, the only 24-hour, television-based multimedia destination dedicated to tennis and the healthy, active lifestyle that surrounds it, today announced the promotions of Josh Ross to senior Web producer, Neema Nikravan to facilities manager, Daisy Guzman, to systems manager and Mark Schaefer to operations coordinator.

Ross, who joined The Tennis Channel as Web content manager in 2004, has been instrumental in the development and evolution of its Web site, as well as TennisChannelOpen.com; the network’s professional tennis tournament’s Web presence. He sees to all online content, including network program information, Web video, blogs, live scores and AP Wire feeds. Ross continues to report to Lynn Forbes, vice president, Web and new media.

As manager of facilities, Nikravan oversees all day-to-day office management needs at The Tennis Channel’s Los Angeles headquarters and satellite offices in New York and Atlanta. These include security, audiovisual equipment and phone network responsibilities. Joining The Tennis Channel in 2003, Nikravan had been facilities supervisor most recently, and continues to report to Dean Hadaegh, CTO and vice president, administration.

Guzman, promoted to systems manager after serving as senior help desk specialist since 2004, will now be involved in the support and management of all network business software applications. She continues to report to Hadaegh. Prior to The Tennis Channel she worked for Los Angeles-based document imaging company Laserfich as a support engineer.

Prior to his promotion to operations coordinator, Schaefer had worked for The Tennis Channel on a freelance basis since 2005. He will now report directly to Keith Manasco, vice president, operations, and assists with broadcast operations, on-air play lists and production tape quality control. In addition to his freelance work with the network, Schaefer has written for a variety of television shows and national publications.
