The Fila Cup Alumni Doubles Challenge Set to Begin March 31

02/01/06 - The Fila Cup is a pilot program that targets avid varsity and recreational collegiate tennis alumni from across the country. This spring's inaugural event will be played March 31-April 2, 2006. Opening rounds will be held at Patch Reef Park Tennis Center in Boca Raton, Florida, and the final rounds will be held on-site during the NASDAQ-100 Open Championships in Key Biscayne.

The draws will consist of 32 men's doubles teams and 32 women's doubles teams. Participants must be at least 35 years old, and the combined age of each doubles team must be a minimum of 75 years old; and at least one player per team must have played varsity collegiate tennis.
