12/03/07 - Tennis Europe has announced the publication of the 2008 European Tennis Calendar. The unique consolidated calendar lists details of all international tennis tournaments set to take place within Tennis Europe’s 49 constituent countries during the coming year.
The calendar includes information from all official circuits, ranging from the organisations own Tennis Europe Junior Tour Under 12, 14 and 16 circuits, to ITF Juniors, Seniors, Professional, Wheelchair and Beach Tennis Circuits, the ATP and Sony Ericsson WTA Tours, plus other events such as conferences, trade shows, coaching events and exhibitions.
Searchable by date, country or organising body, the printable calendar allows the user to view all international events in Europe in any given week, to view the full annual calendar of a given discipline, or to view all events scheduled in any given country throughout the year.
Also detailed are the event website, court surface, tournament category and draw information, making the calendar an essential tool for players, coaches, fans and those working within the tennis industry.
The calendar can be viewed at the homepage of www.TennisEurope.org, where the current week can be found under the present news stories. Searchable functions are accessed by clicking on ‘More dates and events,’ to launch the calendar as a stand-alone application.
Updated regularly throughout the year accommodating the staggered release schedules of various organisers, the 2007 calendar featured full information from almost 1300 international events.
