02/22/07 - Bordentown, NJ -- According to the most recent Q4 Sports Marketing Surveys/Tennis Industry Association Specialty Store Retail Audit, Prince Syn Gut with Duraflex string continues to hold the No.1 string position in the tennis industry for the fifth straight year!
The best selling string again in Q4 2006, Syn Gut with Duraflex holds an overwhelming 14.2 percent unit share in the market.*

In light of its success, Prince recently launched two additions to the Synthetic Gut family of strings: Synthetic Gut Multifilament and Synthetic Gut Poly Blend.
The first string, Synthetic Gut Multifilament was released in January of 2007. It has greater playability and power than its Duraflex counterpart due to the multifilament construction. This construction is different from the nylon core center of the duraflex string. This string gives high priced performance at synthetic gut pricing.
The second, Synthetic Gut Poly Blend, also released in January of 2007, is a hybrid string - two different types of string in one string job – which offers Prince’s new Tournament Poly in the main strings and the top selling Synthetic Gut with Duraflex in the cross strings.
