Balle de Match Introduces New Reps in California and Florida

02/22/07 - Costa Mesa, Ca.--Bälle de Mätch introduces four new additions to its expanding sales team. Kit Rohm, Vicky Franz, Mari Workman and Lisa Durkin have recently begun representing the tennis apparel company in Florida and California.

Rohm and Franz, former sub reps for Ellesse and Lotto in Orange County, are now managing the Southern California region from San Diego up to San Luis Obispo, including Los Angeles and the Desert, for Bälle de Mätch exclusively. Rohm and Franz, both passionate about the sport, are also players in Orange County and familiar with the important women’s market there.

“Kit Rohm and Vicky Franz have embraced our grass roots approach to driving this brand which will pay huge dividends down the road,” said Bälle de Mätch co-owner John Embree. “In the short time they have been with Bälle de Mätch they have proven that they will turn over every stone to get the business. It is clear buyers trust their instincts about what will work and what won't for different accounts.”

Workman and Durkin are now handling sales in Florida. Durkin has been a rep for Jerdog in Florida for two and a half years, and is currently a rep for Volkl, Polo and Sergio Tacchini. Workman, a long-time buyer for Clubcorp pro shops, has an impressive retail background and a great knowledge of grass roots tennis through her relationships in the teaching community.

“Mari has a fantastic background as a buyer in the industry. She knows how to merchandise product and she understands the challenges faced by retailers in our industry,” said Embree. “That knowledge will be so helpful to her Bälle de Mätch customers as she grows the distribution of our line.

“In the few years Lisa has been selling tennis apparel, she has earned a reputation for being extremely conscientious, hard working and knowledgeable about fashion trends. She has built up her other lines significantly and I am confident she will do the same for Bälle de Mätch. Her partnership with Mari will make for a dynamic and energetic team covering what is arguably the most critical market in the tennis arena."
