01/31/07 - TAMPA, FL.—Tennis and sports fans will be able to pick up a copy of the most exciting tennis magazine on the market when they shop at The Sports Authority as Tennis Life Magazine becomes the newest product on the shelves of the country's leading sports retailer. Starting with the May/June 2007 issue, all 350+ stores will offer the glossy publication that's packed with coverage and photos of the professional tennis tour, as well as instruction and lifestyle features.

"We are very excited to launch Tennis Life into The Sports Authority network," says Publisher Todd Goldman, who also operates TennisLife.com. "It's an important move to reach tennis and sports enthusiasts where they live, opening up our magazine and tennis to a broader market."

The distribution agreement is one of several steps Tennis Life has taken recently to increase circulation of the magazine, which exceeds 120,000 subscribers. In addition to offering national content, Tennis Life prints customized editorial for regional sections of the U.S. Tennis Association membership.

As the largest full-line sports retailer in 2003, The Sports Authority merged with Gart Sports to solidify its position. Growth has continued at brick-and-mortar stores and online, at TheSportsAuthority.com, as the company acquired California-based Copeland Sports in 2006 and plans to open 30 additional stores in 2007.
