07/31/07 - The USTA today announced that Grey Goose® Vodka has become a promotional partner of the US Open. The three year partnership will begin with the 2007 US Open and continue through 2009.

Grey Goose’s presence at the US Open will feature a new Grey Goose Bar offering a new signature drink, “The Honey Deuce,” created exclusively for the US Open by Grey Goose mixologist, Nick Mautone. This signature drink will be served in a collectible souvenir glass that lists all Open Era men’s and women’s singles champions.

Additionally, Grey Goose will promote “sip responsibly” messaging on electronic scoreboards in Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium as well as on video boards throughout the grounds of the National Tennis Center.

“We are extremely excited to build a long-term relationship with the sport of tennis,” said Monsell Darville, VP and Group Director of Grey Goose Vodka. “Grey Goose Vodka is a natural partner of the US Open – we are creating synergy by paring the World’s Best Tasting Vodka with the most prestigious tennis event in the world.”

“We’re pleased to be partnering with Grey Goose, the premiere brand in its category,” said Pierce O’Neil. “We look forward to working with Grey Goose to enhance the experience we provide our adult patrons at the US Open.”

Grey Goose will promote its association at all on-site restaurants at the US Open and in a print advertising campaign in The New York Times and New York Magazine.
