PTR Offers High School Coaches Package

11/29/07 - Hilton Head Island, SC - - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) will offer a High School Coaches Package over President’s Weekend, February 16-18, 2008, during its International Tennis Symposium & $25,000 Championships. The annual event will be held at PTR Headquarters on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The High School Coaches Package begins Saturday with an on court PTR Drill Exchange from 1-3pm, followed by a course entitled Team Coaching from 6:30-9:30pm. A Coaches Breakfast Reception, sponsored by the USTA, will be held Sunday morning followed by a panel discussion. Additional courses, including Periodization for Juniors, Effectively Coaching the Parents and Proper Alignment to Improve Performance and Fatigue, will be conducted on Sunday and Monday afternoons. The registration price of $199 includes a PTR Scholastic Coach Membership. Existing PTR members pay only $150!
