02/19/08 - Chicago--Wilson players with new [K]Factor rackets continue to show strong results early in 2008. It started with Novak Djokovic winning the Australian Open with his new [K] Blade Tour racket, defeating a strong Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who had also just switched to the new [K] Blade 98 model and now Justine Henin wins in Belgium with her new [K] Tour racket and new-comer Kei Nishikori defeats James Blake to take his first ATP Title, also playing with his new [K] Tour racket.

Playing in her home country of Belgium for the first time in several years, #1 in the world, Justine Henin won her second title of 2008 playing with her new [K] Tour racket. But it isn’t just Justine who is already having success after upgrading to the new [K] Tour model.

Kei Nishikori, also playing Wilson’s new [K] Tour racket, defeated James Blake in the finals of the International Tennis Championships in Delray Beach to win his first ATP title. Kei is the first Japanese player to win an ATP title in more than 15 years and at 18 years old, he is the youngest player to win an ATP title in the past 10 years and is now emerging as one of the hottest young players to make the transition from juniors to the professional tour. Kei was playing Wilson throughout his junior career, but just recently upgraded to Wilson’s new [K]Factor technology for 2008. Kei defeated Sam Querrey in the semi-finals before he went on to win 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 over James Blake in the finals.

Already in 2008, in both singles and doubles, Wilson players have won multiple titles using new [K]Factor rackets, including the [K] Six.One models, the [K] Blade models, and now the new [K] Tour model. The switch by tour professionals to [K]Factor for 2008 and the success they are already having with various [K]Factor models continues to position Wilson as the clear #1 brand for 2008.
