01/11/08 - New York--TennisWeek.com is producing its most comprehensive Australian Open coverage ever. The recently re-launched TennisWeek.com is covering the 2008 Australian Open, the year’s first major, across multiple platforms with a daily studio show hosted by Carrie Milbank, daily highlights, player interviews, live match audio, live scoring and up to the minute editorial features.

TennisWeek.com will offer live scoring through the IBM-designed "Slam Tracker" scoring module. The platform enables web site visitors to follow live point-by-point action from every Australian Open match as the tournament unfolds. Additionally, users can view every Australian Open draw and discover when their favorite superstars are set to do battle.

TennisWeek.com will house a robust offering of Australian Open video content, highlighting the most compelling matches of the day, video interviews from the world's top players, classic Australian Open recaps and a ‘feel like you’re in Austalia’ photo gallery.

TennisWeek.com’s Editor-at-Large, Richard Evans, will cover his 21st Australian Open, along with respected British writer Alix Ramsay, whose work has appeared in The Guardian and The Telegraph. They’ll both be onsite in Melbourne reporting on the most compelling plot lines developing throughout the fortnight. Tennis Week magazine's Australian Open wrap-up issue will hit newsstands on February 13th.

The most thorough Grand Slam coverage TennisWeek.com has ever undertaken is sponsored by Grand Slam Tennis Tours.

Some of the key features planned for TennisWeek.com's Australian Open coverage include:

Live match scoring
Updated draws
Video highlights
Video player interviews
Classic Australian Open match highlights
Feature stories written by Tennis Week Editor-at-Large Richard Evans
Match reports from the TennisWeek.com team
