07/14/08 - Dominic Schmitt, the newly appointed General Manager of TENNIS.com, announced today Betsy Sanner, who has produced video for CBS College Sports Television, ESPN, CNN, and NBC’s Olympics coverage, has joined TENNIS.com as Coordinating Producer. Ms Sanner will help ramp up video coverage of players and events as The Tennis Company moves aggressively to expand the integration of digital content with its other tennis news and feature coverage.

“As was announced when Dave Morgan became our Chairman, TENNIS.com will no longer just be a site to complement our magazine. It will be the primary driver of our business and will lead us into a future that will be driven by digital video on a global basis always keeping tennis enthusiasts first," says Mr. Schmitt. “Betsy will take charge of all of our video coverage and assure it is a major traffic driver to our other properties both on and off line.”

Ms. Sanner, 31, has been with CBS College Sports Network since 2004, most recently as Senior Producer, Creative Services/Online. In 2007, she was awarded a CINE Golden Eagle for original documentary, Producer, recognizing the highest quality of non-theatrical film and video production. In 2003, she was a Washington Correspondent for Medill News Service. Before that, Ms Sanner was with Smash cast (San Francisco) as a Line Producer for the San Francisco Giants’ 2000 season. Earlier in her career, Ms Sanner worked on ESPN’s X Games and NBC’s Olympic coverage from Atlanta.

Ms. Sanner is a 1999 graduate of Vanderbilt University holding a BA in Communications and Business Administration. In 2004, she was awarded a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
