06/24/08 - Santa Monica - In the first digital initiative promised when Dave Morgan became Chairman of The Tennis Company, Tennis.com today announced that it will partner with Rolex as the exclusive sponsor of a new free daily e-newsletter being published during Wimbledon. Breakfast@Wimbledon is distributed daily at 6AM to arrive at home and work desktops giving subscribers a full preview of the upcoming matches and a summary of the day before.

In addition to Rolex ad units throughout the e newsletter, the Tennis.com homepage has been skinned with a live Rolex clock set to Wimbledon (Greenwich) time. The campaign runs through July 9.
“The Breakfast@Wimbledon sponsorship and Wimbledon time clock are one of the more significant digital efforts by Rolex to date,” says Mr. Morgan. “With the newsletter and other editorial enhancements, Tennis.com has made a significant shift to daily coverage that is being applauded by advertisers. We are confident this new in-time approach to tennis can deliver an upscale audience of significant size for brands like Rolex.”

“Tennis.com features the most extensive coverage of Wimbledon, outside of the tournament site itself,” says Dominic Schmitt, General Manager of TENNIS.com. “Our coverage includes bracket break-down, where we analyze the draws; editors' picks of men's and women's winners; daily, on-the-ground reported pieces from our editors; daily preview of the day's big matches, with predictions; a photo gallery updated multiple times a day; live scores and much more on the past and future of Wimbledon.”
