He explains that the key for a faster and more explosive forehand is reducing the range of motion. Macci will cover this and other essential points for the viewer as he demonstrates how these tips take a player from his old forehand to hitting the shot with a new and improved technique. Don’t miss this episode of “On Court with USPTA” on the 15th!
Rick Macci has worked with hundreds of top pros and juniors at his Rick Macci Tennis Academy, and now is a touring teaching pro at Boca Lago Country Club. His academy is regarded as one of the top teaching environments in the world. Macci, a six-time USPTA Florida Division Coach of the Year and recipient of the 2005 Alex Gordon Award for USPTA Professional of the Year, is one of the most in-demand clinicians and speakers in the game today.
The USPTA became the first tennis-teaching organization ever to produce and air an educational television series on playing and teaching tennis on the Tennis Channel in 2003.
