The founder and president, a former teaching professional and father of three tennis players, designed K3 Tennis Balls to answer the search for an affordable ball that was long lasting and precisely pressurized for match play.

After 18 months of intensive research and development and working closely with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA), K3 Tennis balls were awarded both ITF and USTA approval.

K3 Tennis Balls are getting a great reception, as more and more teaching pros are discovering their high quality and durability. Typically, pros will order the balls for a USTA sanctioned tournament and after the tournament, drop them into the teaching hopper, where they will last 20-30% longer.
OUR HISTORY:
We started selling K3 Tennis Balls in the USA in March, 2005, and just through word of mouth and references, have over 1,000 clubs/parks spread across the United States using them.
We are very thankful to all the Teaching Pros, Tournament Directors, School Coaches, Recreation Departments, and League Players that have welcomed K3 Tennis Balls with an open mind, and then, upon liking the balls, have decided to use them in bulk.

What is the difference between the K3 Silver and the K3 Gold in terms of durability?
K3 Gold and Silver Tennis balls both are using the same high quality felt, however the main difference is that the Gold is a tad heavier and has slightly more PSI, due to the rubber composition which allows for retention in air pressure. The K3 Gold is specialized for tournament play as it is designed to last. K3 Gold’s price per case is $8 to $10 cheaper than the leading competitive brands without sacrifice of quality and durability. The K3 Silver is designed for all types of players who prefer a softer lighter feeling ball, and it is perfect for league play. K3 Silver is the ideal ball for specialty stores and pro shops, as our low case cost aides with increase profit margins.
What does K3 mean “increased durability of 10% (silver) and 20% (gold)”? What is the basis of comparison?
The K3 Gold ball tens to last 20% longer than the competitor’s balls lasting 10% longer. When compared to the completions balls sold in mass markets, the K3 outplays them all.
Why is it that K3 Tennis balls absorb less moisture on clay than the leading ball brand?
While they are not water proof they tend to absorb less moisture and do not react to the calcium within the clay.
